We all know Ferneris is a dick, but at times he can almost seem like a decent furson. Kind of like Darth Vader in episode VI, although I don’t think Feneris will be turning to the “light side” any time soon. He is still loyal to Severian and probably is afraid of the consequences if he did turn.
Weeell we will just have to wait and read to see how this might play out.
Ignoring the fact that bugs and insects are one and the same, and that I refuse to acknowledge anthropomorphic insects, arachnids, and fish, I’m going to go ahead and say there’s not many good ways to pun when it comes to anthros outside of furs. avianthros? reptilomorphs? SexualLobsters?
Okay, Freya officially wins at incentives, at least speaking for myself. 😀 She’s like . . . equal parts “ninja assassin” and “sexy librarian”. Frankly a combination of awesome power.
We always knew that Ferneris would prove to be more than just a one-note villain as soon as other villains started being introduced who were even worse than him.
He’s actually proving to be another protagonist, of sorts.
Villain protagonist, you might say? XD
Once Evee and Evon finish taking down the Cabal (and possibly each other, if they don’t learn to share Hero), if Freya and Feneris survive, I wouldn’t mind a spin-off series…
Well, it remains to be seen what Evee’s goals truly are. And as the series’ primary fighter/love-interests, I could see a showdown between Freya and Hero sometime in the future, which could prove interesting.
But yeah, out of the entire Cabal, these two are the only ones I care to see survive. Perhaps even come to circumstances where they help Evon and Hero.
Kind of an antihero of sorts. The worst(best?) kind of villain! they’re not allowed into Merik’s super evil headquarters. not even if they bring free tacos!
Wow. He actually cares and I mean that in a good way.
Wow! I’m actually feeling something other than undisguised loathing for a member of the Cabal.
Nicely done. =^_^=

And for the incentive, all I can say is NICE 😉
He might be loyal and afraid, but that doesn’t mean he will try (very hard) to save Severian if Sev tries to hurt his ‘little girl’
‘Furson’ I like that term. It is perfect. What about reptiles, crustaceans, avians, bugs and insects, and fish?

Cant wait for the next page… :b

That does it! Freya is now my webcomic waifu!
Do I see a family resemblance in this comic page?
Between whom?
He DOES have a soul!
Btw, I’ve been wondering for a while… What is up with Herodotus’s nose?
Ever seen Cyrano de Burgerac? I remcomed the 1950’s version wih Jose Ferrer. 😀
You mean he wasn’t stung by a radioactive bee?
who knows.
Raise a kid as your own, it’s natural you’ll get protective. Maybe now he’s realising why Evon’s parents defied Sevarian in the first place.
