I know I’m not a mouse, but ~ahem~ “……oh, shit.” This guy’s got good reflexes, getting his shield up that quick. Evon should’ve left as soon as she cast that spell. Sorcery 101, never stay close to where your area-of-effect spell is set. Either a) You’ll get caught in the spell, or b) You’ll be close enough to provoke an attack of opportunity from your opponent should he/she/they/it survive the spell.
Then again, Evon hasn’t exactly had much formal training. And here I was hoping Evon would pull the aforementioned ‘Reverse Damsel-in-distress bit” and save Hero this time. Oh well, there’s still hope. Just like I’m hoping to see them kiss, dammit! ;3
