El Goonish Shive. You’d have to read the “Sister” arc to get the ref, but Evee is damn near identical to Ellen- except the rape part. Ellen was never raped.
Ellen was created when Elliot (The original) was “cursed” by a transformation gun to being an attractive girl by his friend Tedd. Since gun broke immediately after, they had to find another way to break it. They found the Dewitchery Diamond, which separated Elliot from his “curse,” creating Ellen. In the end, Ellen became Elliot’s sister full time, and is a main character.
It’s natural that Evon is surprised, but why hasn’t this been obvious to everyone since Evee started stalking Hero? Granted, Evee seems to be a little unclear on the distinction between love and lust, but she’s very young and hasn’t had much chance–or reason–to learn restraint.

And… as Treesong said… this twist was not completely unexpected. But it is a real twist and really something I’ve been looking forward to seeing how it turns out!
Wow, this is certainly intriguing. This could end up a few different ways, either one of which is an interesting plot line. Personally, I’m hoping they can talk this out and team up (albeit probably just tentatively..) to go after the other ass hat wearing douche knuckles responsible for all their miseries.
You know,if the two of them team up, practice working together with Hero, (between “cuddling” with him) then that Wizard’s Council is in for a Universe of HURT!
I really hope Evon and Evee can work out their problems. They would take the term “formidable” to another level!
