I was going to say nice Young Frankenstein (remember, it’s pronounced ‘frahnk-en-shteen’ folks..) reference, but Dragon Knight already beat me to it. I can just imagine ole’ Severian face palming right now, followed by “ENOUGH!! You three have failed me enough where she is concerned. I’ll go after the focus myself, you three just get me the project before she causes me any more trouble.” Or something of that nature.
The head villain never goes after the target himself. In the event that things go wrong, he needs someone to take the blame. He cannot allow himself to be seen as a direct failure.
Well, the head villain does go after people himself if the situation warrants it, one of those “If you want something done right” type of things. It happens all the time in games, comics, etc. Otherwise the heroes would stand next to no chance of ever even meeting the head villain, unless they decided to go after him/her themselves.
Absolutely true, Foxstar. That’s usually how it goes with villains, the moment something goes wrong, it’s the other guy’s fault.
Personally, I think if Evee (sp?) had arrived with a sword asking that question, the entire group would probably have pissed themselves and jumped out the windows rather than get murdered.
Either way, Lanna and her beau are going to be searching for Evee, and wouldn’t you know it, they’re going to find our favorite warrior rat and spellcaster bear, along with our resident psychopathic clone… I feel a massacre coming on…
Well at the very least this all confirms that Legune hadn’t experimented on himself to make a little thing like having his neck snapped a big deal.
I’m glad he’s gone permanently. Still their all rather cut throat aren’t they? I’d say only two are actually loyal to him and one of those is only just because it benefits him to be so.
Yeah, I always push on this when anyone uses the word ‘rouge’ in an MMO; rogue is a thief or similar, rouge is the color red in French, also used to name lipstick in many countries (earliest lipsticks were only red).
lanna looks like an evil version of Areth, notice the red symbol between her breast? What does that symbolize? Should be really interesting to see what happens next, would love to roll in the hay with her too, or in bed :]
How true that is,but I still want the Mouse that was on the last page,I always found her cute. Lanna isn’t bad,but she strikes me as the type while in bed to whip out the Big nose with the mustash and glasses and call it a Silly F**k. O: )
The Frankenstein musical? Really?

Looks like your standard bitch and blame fest. Everyone wants the accolades but none of the accountability.
Too bad that Nega-Evon doesn’t show up saying “Hello ladies and gentlemen, looking for me?” And then goes to town on them. LOL

Well someone caught a case of the sillies.
What is she doing.
Rogue. She’s cleaned off the blood.

The Rouge Experiment is the name of my next band.
HAH. Last panel. OWNEEEEED!
Score 1-1, ball in the middle xD
LOVE IT!!! (Scampers off to find some hay to roll in!)

Lanna isn’t ‘all there’, is she? O_o
A roll in the hay is fun…until errant straws poke you in the na-na place… 🙁
I believe you mean rogue not rouge.
All I can say is where is a gigantic meteor when you need one?

Traveller must be PRETTY good for an old guy to have a relatively young woman fantasizing about spending time alone with him.
