I bet she is intentionally popping that spoon in his mouth every time he opens it just to make sure he cannot ask any questions. At least until she manages to drop the bombshell as to what the cost actually was.
Well, Hero is fairly wealthy and she knows it. I doubt she would be anticipating him loosing it for spending his pocket change. However, if her previous teleporting skills are anything to go by, then they showed up in town nude and with no money at all. One has to wonder what a nude girl bear without a copper to her name might have had to pay…..
Poor Hero, he’s gonna choke if she keeps force-feeding him like that. ;3 I have a feeling she’s crying because she’s finally coming to terms with the fact that she almost lost him, and how serious that situation was. Like Mr. Wax said, though, it is hard to tell someone that you spent all their money- even if it was to save their life- but I think it’s deeper than that. Then again, Mr. Wax is the writer for this strip, not me. Though that doesn’t stop my mind from wanting to write things for you. x3
Hard left turn, here, but I can’t help but wonder how much crap Cleo’s getting into back at the manor. The phrase “When’s the cat’s away, the mice will play” fits here, but in reverse. Of course, Belvie’s more than up to the task of corralling her, but I’m still wondering. ~shrugs~ Oh well, I’m enjoying the plot between these two to really care that much. ;3
Now there is an interesting question. I woner what she might be getting up to? }-) I wonder if we will ever find out? Who knows, who knows. Heh-heh-heh.
