Voting incentives have returned! I’ll be posting sketches that I’ve previously shared on Patreon on Top Webcomics so don’t forget to vote! First up is a warm up sketch of Freya.
How did Hero end up teaming with Venir anyway? they seem completely at odds in most pages I’ve seen…
Well we’re seeing the responsible Hero now, Venir is remembering the tail-chasing sellsword he traveled with in the past. Hero’s time with Evon has changed him, the new Hero clashes with the relatively unchanged Venir.
actually i wonder how much of the “tail chasing sell-sword” was an act back then.. he certainly didn’t seem to be too much of that when Evon hired him. i suspect that while he was more open to a bit of carousing back then, he was probably just as serious as he is now. the difference is that now not only is he less inclined in general to humor Venir’s behavior, but he is trying to take care of something that is super serious (these are his own vassals after all) while dealing with someone who has zero empathy (really.. looking to exploit a title, and carouse, while several villages lie in ruins and people are suffering literally right in front of him?)
I agree with Glitterboy — Hero was always responsible and respectful, Venir isn’t. Sure, he spent time wenching, but the ladies probably liked him because he treated them like people.
and at the time, Hero didn’t have anyone that might take offense to a few romantic interludes. even Cleo didn’t care, given she’d assumed Hero had kept Evon around as a mistress (and given what Cleo was doing herself…)
A not so subtle “I’m not letting you be in the same room as her without supervision” jab at Venir.
As for the vote incentive, I don’t see a change (yet).
Should be able to see it now 🙂
Yep. (Dat a$$!)
This is just so the interviewees can’t point at Venir and go, “It was him!!”
I betcha.
The more I see of Venir, the less I see of him and Hero being partners. Though, perhaps what ever was done to him has other effects coming out.
Evon’s like… Just what exactly were you planning on Lord Dent?
I am starting to get a serious case of ‘acquired distaste’ about this guy…
Have you measured the actual volume of this one and/or tried using at close to the rated capacity? I burned out my decade+ old mini cuisinart a few weeks ago, and one thing I”ve noticed in reviews of some models I”ve looked at is the volume posted on the box isn”t even close to the actual usable volume. Some are so bad that they state 3 4 cups but aren”t usable past even 1 because of the design.
Really amazing post eat Thanks for this information. amazon gift code
