I’m having those mixed feelings again. Is this one those I killed him but he comes back things. Cause I can see that, he should have went for the head.
I imagine this is a case where he survives just long enough to tell the hero what happened and where she’s gone to in order to use the hero as his final weapon against his killer.
See Sevarian there just made the biggest villain mistake other than monolouging, leave the enemy without making sure they are really dead…
Wonder if he’s going to drink the dark matter? By rule of Chekov’s gun, it can’t just appear for no reason near him like that without being used.
Yups: you are never that short of time (or full of confidence) to not wait around to confirm the death (and to ensure it is a final death, not just an ‘almost’)
And if you are that short on time, speed things up by stomping on the head a few (dozen) times!
It’s too bad he’s in a cult…he just became hole-y XD

I find total disintegration to be effective, 99% of the time.
Best to nuke them from orbit, just to be sure.
Well at least we finally found a mage capable of pulling the trigger instead of slap-fighting, now if only he understood the concept of “double-tap”.
