Volume Four, Chapter 21, Page 890

UPDATE 9/6: Thanks for understanding, guys. I’m not going to be able to get any art posted this weekend. I managed to mostly catch up on life events and I’m feeling better physically and emotionally, but I used Sunday as a rest day and took some time for myself. Going into this week, things should be back to relative normalcy. Expect a new page of Evon and Holding Out for a Hero on their normal update days 🙂
In the meantime, make sure you check out the interview I did with the lovely people behind The Depths webcomic!
They also have a new webcomic over on Tapas called Insignificant Otters that’s worth a read!
Take care of yourselves!
Still loving how much perverse joy Evee’s getting out of this.
And awesome that you got interviewed, Bri! 😀 As someone who’s been reading since the beginning, it’s wonderful to see how far your artwork and the depth of the writing and the characters has come. I wish you all the best for your new comic!
It was really such a pleasure to interview her and see just how dedicated and passionate she is about her work. ♥
I enjoy both of your comics tremendously, so I was really happy to see that the creator of one of my favorite webcomics was interviewed by the creator of one of my other favorite webcomics.
Evee, I believe you’re enjoying this attack a little too much. You really need to . . . uh . . . need to . . . uh . . . You know what carry on. I don’t think you can do too much that this group doesn’t deserve.
Nice sound effect placement in panel 2. It’s as if that Focused Magic Beam is Cold.
Cold can burn just as well as fire though. Just with less charring. Ever heard of frostburn? Also with that wide beam I wouldn’t exactly call that “focused”, but alas.
Chilblains, the gift of winter that never goes away
It would have been funny though if the fourth letter in that sound effect had been a T – although that would have begged the question where the learned the “Summon A-10” spell… May the Brrt! be with you. It would be one decidedly effective way for clearing out that corridor though.
In the first panel Evee reminds me a bit of Tiny Tina in Borderlands 2 – “..and boom goes the bandit!”
Evee sure likes her work 😀
Evee brings to mind
from a rousing battle anthem of yore.
Ruminating for some time on this page the term that seems to epitomize Evee is “SASS!” Evon could use a bit of it in the long term.
“Insignificant Otters” is quite funny and is drawn by a former(?) Disney artist so you may recognize the art style.
