Um? I read this as Evon being the original, and this one being a clone. The Cabal had hoped that the clone would have the same powers as Evon herself, but that is (perhaps very fortunately for Evon and Hero, much less so for the clone herself) not to be!
And red eyes hinting that she is NOT happy.
If she is similar enough to her original, even without being a Focus, they are in for serious trouble, and she will want to join up with Evon; maybe they will become something akin to twins (identical twins being natural clones, both being originals).
they just said that the clone is physically stronger, maybe even in magic too. if they can get it close to Hero while Evon isn’t nearby, his guard will be down while the clone attacks him. not only that, but it *is* a clone…likely they would use multiple clones at once in an effort to gain the real focus and remove Hero from the picture. and don’t forget they have Hero’s ‘friend’ that tried to collect the reward. who knows what kind of monster they are turning him into…
Dayum. Whole lotta uses she could be for, and none of them morally good.
We still haven’t seen her talk or even show a spark of awareness in her surroundings, though. I wonder what she’s got in the ol’ attic, if anything at all. Could be nothing more than a programmable robot, though that could still be quite useful to the Cabal.
If nothing else, give her to Max, tell him it’s the real thing, and he can piss off. X)
first thoughts.. wow. i’d never expected the clone thing to come up again so soon.
second thoughts.. ok, so she is stronger than Evon. (might just be a reflection of training though)
third thoughts.. red eyes? Evon’s are sorta yellowish-brown. possible indications of the differences in physical/magical aspects?
final thought.. the clone is seriously restrained there. could this indicate that her personality is somewhat unstable? one would presume that efforts would have been made to brainwash the clone to be friendly, but the restraints indicate concerns over potential danger. if all they were worrying about was magic, one of the dampener things used on Evon would have sufficed. the use of restraints might indicate they are worried about physical attack as well.
Considering what Legune tried with the original Evon, the clone might be permanently pissed off rather than unstable.
I’m wondering if this Evon was grown from an embryo or imposed on an existing body, like some of his monsters. If the former, one might expect her to have all the self-control of a two-month-old child. If the latter, some of the original’s personality might remain because he couldn’t afford to warp her like the monsters.
I’d been wondering about the clone lately–she struck me as the biggest danger to Evon. At least now we know Evon remains indispensable, and the clone is at best an unreliable tool. But together with the castle, a totally unexpected development, things look to get more complicated than ever.
Damn sexy evil clone. :3 Well if anyone has learned any thing with clone there is a chance that this Evon clone might have her mind or thoughts. But the possiblities for trouble the Cabal could use her for are peticularly nasty. Good luck Evon, your gonna need it.

The look on the clone’s face says to me. Say what you want, do what you want, but as long as I live there is a chance I will get loose. When that chance comes I will visit several kinds of hell and misery upon you.
Amen to that,Antonious. It also could be said that she,the clone,is just waiting for the moment that they drop their guard sufficiently for her to make her move.
And when she does, good gravy it’ll most likely be a fight to the finish.
My guess is that the powers were either effected by the cloning process or how she was raised. If the powers are hereditary, something must have caused this.
Still, if his cloning experiment are so perfect, maybe their giving up too early on it. She could be repressing that ability consciously or unconsciously. Maybe even she’s simply unconsciously diverting all that power to her other abilities and doesn’t build up a reserve like Evon.
All that has been said only says she isn’t a Focus and the most important fact to make a Focus would be the open reservoir of magic in the planet, if they can’t draw magic from her, then she isn’t a Focus.
Well, nuts. Now Evon’s got a half brother that puts the moves on her, and now a ‘sister’. Why do I have the feeling that good ol’ Looney Legune the Goon has thoroughly abused said clone? The sick bastard…
I dunno, Legune seems more like the kind of guy to only have passion for his work. I rather suspect–other than the genetic tampering and continued alterations–his creations don’t see much abuse. I’d guess he rather respects and cares for them, in his way. And not in the skeevy way.
We’ve seen how he reacted when his brutish monsters got hurt, how he led around the young clone by the hand like a daughter. Hell, he even had Evon at his mercy, and he only took samples from her. His ruined body may not even have any carnal desires, anymore.
Oh Crud!
The “Original”??
Is the one with Hero a clone??
Man, I turn my back for just a few moments, and look what happens . . .

Handcuffs that bind magic. Could mean trouble.

…Fuck.

So what do we think? Yvonne? Nevon? Evoff?

If we have learnt anything from clones (Aidan/Nadia, Elan/Nale), her name should be “Nove”

Well I’ll be.Fellow discussion board fans, please take a look between the red eyed clone and the bedchamber Evon.
There seems to be something itching at the back of my head that is yelling to me that the incentive picture is a peering into the possible future.
For my sake as well as Hero’s,I do indeed pray that I am totally wrong about this.
As far as what the Cabal have in mind for the clone to do,that is.
One is a genius (Evon) the other insane (name unknown) a laboratory bear.. By the dawning of the sun. She will take over the world!!
There is actually a typo in cell 1. Its developed instead of develop.

She also has different colour eyes…. disappointing but a sexy evil clone anyway.
You know that hunched creep tapped that a few times. And does anyone else think the clone looks kind of derpy?

She certainly isn’t very responsive here.

I sense a point where the two will look the same and Hero will have to guess which one is the real one.

Possibly… still don’t trust ‘im.
Is it weird that I find the evil clone to be hotter than the original? Mebbe those gorgeous red eyes?
wait whats hapening?
i got a bad feeling about this.
