honestly…i’m a bit surprised the sword was able to cut through them…just looks like a basic sword…would have thought the monsters would be more resistant…oh well, they’re dead XD
It may be a standard sword, but it’s a standard sword for the Cabal main fortress – I’d bet they all have a minor enchantment to keep their edge…if they aren’t all vorpal…
Though, yeah, head-cleaving is really difficult…this may be more Nevon’s incredible strength than the blade’s effectiveness.
Hero showed that a sword can, indeed, cut through them. Now Nevon’s just proven that a sword can cut more than just their arms.
The more I see of here, the more I think she’s not going to go for the ‘lost sister’ bit. Too bad, since I really would’ve liked the dynamic of that (good sister trying to save evil one, evil one not knowing if she even wants to be saved). Either that, or I’m hoping for a ‘romantic’ run-in between Nevon and Hero (not sexual in nature, necessarily, but I’d like to see Hero caught in a love triangle between what is essentially two versions of the same woman).
Well Nega-Evon was esentionally created as a clone, told she was going to be used as a tool for nefarious plans, said she was a failure. And was going to become a perverts’ sex toy. I’m pretty sure she has a “few” reasons to be a blood raving bitch. I’m also sure that she and Evon probably won’t see much of things eye to eye.
But right now Nega-Evon’s doing the world a favor by wiping out Cabal members, and in my book that is a good thing. After that well just have to see what will be her next objective.
You know the rule of clones. They have to wipe out the original so they can be the only real one. So once she escapes, she’s going to hunt down her copy so she can both punish her and take over her life.
You know, for a moment there I thought she had laser eyes… like Superman, except in female bear form… so like Superwomanbear… or whatever the scientific community call a female bear, bearess or something like that.
Sow. Though I wouldn’t care to call Evon or her clone that to her face.
There’s also ‘she-bear’, as in Samuel Foote’s ‘The Great Panjandrum’:
So she went into the garden
to cut a cabbage-leaf
to make an apple-pie;
and at the same time
a great she-bear, coming down the street,
pops its head into the shop.
What! no soap?
So he died,
and she very imprudently married the Barber:
and there were present
the Picninnies,
and the Joblillies,
and the Garyulies,
and the great Panjandrum himself,
with the little round button at top;
and they all fell to playing the game of catch-as-catch-can,
till the gunpowder ran out at the heels of their boots.
When the Himalayan peasant
meets the he-bear in his pride
he shouts to scare the monster
who will often turn aside.
But the she-bear thus accosted
rends the peasant tooth and nail
For the female of the species
is more deadly than the male.
The more I see of her the more I have this deep seated warm feeling in my heart. My question on the duality of the situation is did Evon get all of the arcane powers and Nove(clone’s name, I think I missed it?) recieve all the potential for weapons?
Still not sure if she didn’t add a bit of magic power to that strike. The eyes say yes, methinks. And if not to the sword, itself, then perhaps to boost her own strength for the hit.
Perhaps that’s how her power manifests. Instead of ranged magic, it’s all internal. She’s like a physical adept from Shadowrun. 😀
She can slice. Now let’s find out if she can dice and liquify.
I can’t say as feel for those two poor monstrosities. At least they’re free of any more torment by that twisted “doc” or any of the other Cabal members.
Umm, they already were “free of any more torment by that twisted “doc””, and seriously doubt any of the Cabalists would have gone near them let alone bothered them
My apologies to you, sir and or ma’am. I have offended you with my comment and my obvious stupidity. I won’t make any more comments for this webcomic ever again.

You would be surprised what a ‘normal sword’ can cut through. Trust me on that.

Fatality.
Flawless Victory <3

She seems to be moving a head nicely!
Mewthinks hero’s in a bit of trouble….. in the future.
Figures, one fight and these guys go to pieces.
Damn.:o She is better then Hero…

Well it seems female bears are actually called ‘sows’.
At the risk of making bad puns guess she’s reaping what they sowed.
And what they plowed is doing the reaping. Wow you set that one up well 😛
Or as in Kipling’s work…
When the Himalayan peasant
meets the he-bear in his pride
he shouts to scare the monster
who will often turn aside.
But the she-bear thus accosted
rends the peasant tooth and nail
For the female of the species

All-in-all, though, YIKES this lady is dangerous!
awesome refference 🙂 I agree that’s a possability
Yeah I was gonna suggest physad, or else maybe one of the spell-sword classes from D&D.
If I recall my contents of Magic in the Shadows, if it’s true she does have spellcasting abilities too, she’s probably a magician-adept then.
And boy, she must be really fast in moving around those big beasts, chop chop!!
Snicker-snack went the Bander-snatch (or something)
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack. 🙂
Thank you, never really read it, just heard bits and pieces (there was a Bander-snatch involved somewhere, wasn’t there?)
yup, but it was a monster, it’s the jabborwalkie who’s head was severed by the vorpal sword going ‘Snicker-Snack’
Jabbawookie
I swear if bob’s head wasn’t attracted to his body he would…oh…never mind.
Holy Shit she did a sword version of Akuma’s Rageing Demon on those poor bastards
Oh shit Nevon was not kidding about showing them who the true Monster is by unleashing a Savage FATALITY upon them
KNEW IY
KNEW IT
Damn!

mmm…kay, she give the first strike now what?
Isn’t she a little young to be experiencing PMS? I mean, isn’t she like a few months old?
