And a little update on the pre-order process of Chapter One. I’m happy to say that we are already 72% of the way funded with plenty of time to still catch the hard copy at a great deal. Damn, that cat (the daughter of Hero’s Lord if I remember correctly) just got verbally bitch-slapped. By her actions thus far, I’m guessing that Cleo isn’t the only one there of royal blood that has her eye set on Hero (or Hero’s lands/title/etc). Interesting story development so far, Mr. Wax. I eagerly await further installments.

I do like Evon’s costume here. Her wisdom, not so much. XD She didn’t need to say it was with Hero, and if the Lady found out, and implied that Evon should have said so, the bear could have just declared it to be none of her business, Hero is her sensei, and he sets the schedule. Much safer ground for a fight. Actual, Evon could have said that in the last panel, too. The bear runs to hot tempered.

Cleo isn’t very smart, is she? She has had first hand evidence that Evon is a spellcaster (at the least, that she can cast a wicked fireball with great accuracy) and she is wearing a sword like she knows how to use it
