Volume Two, Chapter 8, Pge 342
Jul15
The only thing keeping Cleo from having her tail set on fire is that Evon doesn’t want to cause any trouble for Hero. Especially after ol’ Belvie told her that she couldn’t physically harm Cleo. Oh, well, there are other ways of getting back at the royal pain…
One just hopes that Evon has a way to deal with her anger. If she explodes… :/
And what’s really making this worse, is the fact that she has feelings for Hero, and has probably imagined them being together at some point. Not that she’s given in to the urge to think it’s possible, but I’m sure she’s thought about it on occasion. And to have that remark come from Cleo of all people, and said in that way, well it certainly doesn’t earn Cleo a ‘Get out of Revenge FREE’ card, now does it.
Thing is now, Evon is pissed off and now she’ll take it out on Hero during training.
~Good! I can feel your ANGER! Take your weapon! Strike me down with all of your hatred and your journey towards the Dark Side will be complete!~
Sorry…couldn’t resist. 😀
Unfortunately, as I point out in my book, you should NEVER let your emotions control you during a sword fight. You should ALWAYS detach yourself from them. Otherwise, your emotions will blind you to your opponents attacks.
“BANG! BANG! Feuer Frei!
Yeah, that’s a stinger. To be called out on having feelings for Hero in such a debasing, insulting, and demoralizing way. And Chakat’s right, it’s worse because she knows she has feelings like that inside, and Cleo just made it sound horrible and ugly.
And no, much as we all would love to see her singe the butt-fur off of Cleo, it’s probably not the best thing to do. Though, hopefully, circumstances change to allow it in the future. 😛
Yeah, ’cause, honestly, I’d give, like, ten bucks to see that bitch’s head on a stick. Or see her just get the fuck beat out of her with someone’s bear fists (HA! A PUN!)
Anyway… gotta give props to Evon. I know I would have NOT been able to hold my anger back.
A thought occurs… Belvie says Evon can’t harm her PHYSICALLY…
What about psychologically? Perhaps throw eldritch horrors of a Lovecraftian nature her way… till even the king would be worried for and lock away his raving lunatic of a daughter…
Heh heh. Heheh. HehehHEHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HA HA HAAAAAA!!
Lovely comment, my friend.
while she is being unjustifiably a total bitch to evon, insults and taunting hardly justify assault.
As for magical mental assault… that is still assault.
I’d settle for a total verbal shut-down and utter humiliation, myself.
But I’m still holding my breath that she’ll do something that _is_ worthy of assault. *crossed fingers*
Never enrage a magic user. Cleo should really bear that in mind. :3
