He’s too stoic to show it but you know he’s furious over what just happened and at whose instigating and majorly worried about Evon since this failure just means her rival will try something else even more dangerous if she’s not stopped.

I don’t know if that’s stoicism or just keeping emotions under tight control, but the rest of the appraisal is probably right. My feeling is the princess had better look into flame resistant underwear.

The real question, is what he doo about the princess, and will he tell Hero about the incident.

Gonna be interesting to see how this comes back at Princess Bitch-britches.

Belvedere is much stronger than he looks. Evon is small, true, but he seems to be able to lift and carry her easily. One of many surprises he holds, I’m sure.

I see blood on her right sleeve from the cut on page 707. We’ve seen it before. Good continuity!

Evon does seem to be putting up better fights on her own lately, so she is learning. She was holding her own until he pulled out the artifacts.

Can’t wait to see Heroes reaction to this from his “fiancĂ©”

I am not sure if bevidier did this because she is guest of his master he cares about evon a mix of the 2 or being belvidier he know evon is who will be best for his master if he ever gets his head out of his ass and admits it.

I’m still impressed that our Inquisition Agent not only recognized Belvidere but was very obviously reluctant to cross him, let alone challenge him.
I suspect our quiet manservant has a background closely tied to the other’s organization, as a founder, teacher, or former leader. I love the interplay and potential links in this fabric you’re weaving. Please keep it up.

Makes me wonder how long Cleo can feign “Plausible Deniability” after this.

Is that emotion we see on his face? Belvidier, you’re slipping.

Anyone else notice that Belvedere isn’t leaving any footprints in the snow? I somehow doubt that this is by accident…

True, now that you mention it. In both ‘walking’ images there appears to be a ‘sheet/circle/etc’ before and under him that doesn’t match with the snow. Perhaps a ‘spell’ of his own to provide a secure surface over the snow?

Inquiring minds, and flaky furries, want to know
