Perhaps, unless he’s got the wits by now to realize what happened & why. That his is the 1st face she sees on waking up is a good start.
Hopefully he’ll be able to show that he DOES care for her, and someone (Belvedere?) comes up with a valid cause to terminate the ‘marriage at birth’ issue with that ‘x’itch. Would her trying to get Evon killed/taken away by the ‘Society’ be valid cause, you think? Should be enough to get some death threats sent her way from our reluctant hero.
Belvedere: “Now will you take a moment to bathe and eat, sir?”
Hero: “All right, now that she’s awake.”
Evon: “How long was he there?”
Belvedere: “Since I brought you inside.”
In the game of love and war the princess just upped the limits considerably so some sort of response will be required.
Evon is a rather untrained in this sort of combat so has wisely been listening to Belveder so far. Now it will be very interesting to see just how far he will counsel Evon to go in order to counter her rival. I suspect smoldering underwear at the least. (Second degree burns where her power base rests.)
hey, my first comment ever is first comment!
all i have to say is wait for it…..
Let it be a big epic hug!
Maybe THIS TIME she’ll learn not to run off alone, in a huff.
well, it looks like the item the hunter used to blind her was only temporary cause her eyes look normal again. also…she got to sleep finally XD
what Reever said 😀
Probably the most accurate comment Evon has ever made in this entire comment.
Only because it’s true. LOL.
At first I thought poor Evon had a big shiner until I realized that it was just the way her nose lined up with her eye.
Evon is going to be one P.O. bear when she gets completely healed. “Just you wait.” (Dr. Smith on “Lost in Space”)
I’ve got a feeling the Hero ain’t gonna be too happy either.

“Ow…”
Good answer.

I’d laugh if your exact dialog was used when that scene inevitably shows up in the comic.
Hero seems to lack the repressed anger that would be expected if he knew who had set the hunter on Evon.
If he knew who had made that report (and how it had been worded), his anger wouldn’t be repressed.

They say that if you feel pain, you survived.
