I haven’t posted an incentive in a while so I figure I’ll give a little peek at work I’ve been working on. A few months ago I gave a very small preview of another comic and me and Mr Wax are working on. While then we have gone back over it and have changed a few details of it and I am now much happier with it. So for todays incentive is the character design of the main character, Thekla.
Venir: have you noticed how THIN the ice is here…!?
Thekla: She’s cute. I’d take her up on that “hug” offer!
Okay Venir, you are seriously asking for it. Hero is so gonna kick your ass.

True, but I don’t think he knows she is a mage, it didn’t say on the poster, atleast not the first ones
She told them as such when she tried to hire them. Hero was the one who took her up on the offer, free of charge.
No she didn’t say se was, all she said was she needed Herodotus Dent to recover something she lost, Venir never knew she was a mage. I just went back and reread the first meeting

Yep. Knew it. Venir is going to do something stupid, like either (try to) kidnap Evon, or something worse like attack her. If that happens, and if she doesn’t fry his ass first, Hero is _SO_ going to bounce his face off of a rock. Several times. In rapid succession. Hard.
Well…is this an honest expression? If so, getting his friend out of the line of fire is a secondary, and better than I expected…cool.
Evon has always shown an odd fragility about Hero, so claiming he wants Evon out of Hero’s life for his own safety, that might work…but he’s more likely to get his tail fried…
Oh, this won’t end well…
If I didn’t know better I’d say he sounds jealous.
He may just be…but, he’s going about it the wrong way.
Venir, you’re being a grade-A jerkhole. Hero’s a big boy, he’s capable of making his own decisions.
Light his pants on fire, Evon! Right now! Just get it over with.
As for the incentive, was this the comic project about the teddy-bear-drawing artist whose creations start to come to life? That did look interesting. If so, quite a revision on the character, but she looks good.
Not at all, that project was the original idea for my school thesis, but I didn’t go with it through to the end because it was so complicated I wouldn’t have gotten it done in time. This comic I’m working on now goes by the name of ArchAngel, but I’m not gonna give away too many details 🙂
Ah, pity. What little you showed us looked interesting. But I’m sure this other comic idea will be good stuff, too. You and Wax never fail to entertain. 🙂
Venir should turn around and walk off, otherwise Evon and Hero will be having Venir soup for dinner.
I think Venir’s plan is to weaken Evon first. How he’s starting off, i think he’s gonna try to make Evon feel guilty, prolly saying that he wouldn’t be hurt this much if she wasn’t around and blahblahblah, making Evon go on by herself without Hero, and when she’s TRULY alone, he’ll snatch Evon. This is only an opinion. I would rather he try to get her and Hero or Evon kick his ass.
