Maybe, but I haven’t really seen anything that’ll make me think she’ll betray him. Unless the ‘loose lips’ also imply she’s the court whore and will confess everything to another one of the Cabal.
I think the difference is that Freya isn’t someone Ferneris just met. She’s been with him for years, doing who knows what for him (and also to him). She’s loyal to a fault.
If she turns out to betray him, it’ll be a dark day.
But where is the fun/ plot development in that? simple solutions ususlly don’t solve the problem in the long run though in Maximuss’ case, he really deserves it. THE COLONEL
Some people are more clear headed during the act, he seems the one of those “clearheaded”, and can use one head for thinking like it’s supposed to, and the other to fuck his maid/ servant/ henchwoman. Coming to this conclusion, he must last for a very long time XD
