I think Cleo’s lucky that Herodotus is such a gentleman. Evon, on the other hand, is not so nice π
Todays incentive are some pictures I took of the sculpture of Genevieve that I’m working on. It’s been about a year since I’ve done a figure like this (that last one I did was a sculpture of Herodotus that I gave Mr Wax for Christmas), so it’s a little hard trying to get use to it again:)
It’s still a work in progress, I’ve only gotten her heard, torso and on leg sculpted out. I still have to do her other leg, her arms, hair and clothes. Lets just hope I can finish before Monday! π
Last panel should totally be made into a t-shirt.
Heheh! Evon’s gonna get ticked off! ~in a sing song voice~
I have a feeling that Cleo shall be getting a bit of a wake up call soon. Very, very soon.
The sculpture is looking awesome! Looking forward to the finished piece! Glad you are back and anticipating more comic greatness, Ms. B!!!
she should have the dress, but not the manner… }|D
Oh, no, she didn’t…
Note to Evon: Don’t kill the spoiled cat now. Wait until after the party. No one will know…
Until the next morning, anyway.
Surely just humiliating the spoilt cat will do?
Alternate sound-effect for last panel: “YOINK”
And finally we hear some reasoning for why Hero brought Evon here. Protection. Though, we haven’t really seen much for guards here, so how much protection can castle walls give against magic-users? No matter. Belvidier will probably prove to be a secret martial-arts master with cooking utensils and cleaning tools, or something. π
That’s some serious ice in panel 5, and completely ignored. This conflict is certainly pushing toward a heated conclusion. The suspense is killing me.
Wow. That sculpture’s actually really good. I mean, we’ve seen your sculpture work before, but never on so small a scale. Doesn’t look misshapen at all, no offending lines or odd lumps. I’m impressed.
I agree the sculpture is looking good. One point does not look quite right. I flipped back and forth between the sculpture pic and the comic to be sure. I think the sculpture’s ears are too big. They are too much like Hero’s. If you took the 25% of the ear nearest the head away and moved the remainder to reconnect with the head, I think the ears would look correct. Evon’s ears always resemble a 1/2 to 3/4 circle.
*Starts chanting* Fireball fireball fireball fireball fireball!
They are already having a ball. So let Evon add a fireball.
Bevedere may have to restrain her, at least until the nobles leave so there aren’t so many people in the way. Though I’d imaging there are a few that he wouldn’t mind seeing in the crossfire.
@Antonious
Actually they look right compared to the drawing of the figure from the previous incentive.
Ah, Lord Flantleroy.
Fred Perry’s a fan of the subtly inserted references himself. ^_-
