Todays incentive is a line drawing of an original character I came up with for a contest I’m entering through my school. The goal is to create a clay action figure from an original character. The winner gets a three month internship with Hasbro toys! My characters name is Genevieve and I’m still working on her back story 🙂
As a good butler, Belevedier knows when to make a gracefull exit. 😉 And I think this is the second time we’ve seen that old rabbit smile.
I just thought of the perfect way to get Hero out of his prediciment. Isn’t Evon considered a minor lord? [Her adoptive father was a high ranking wizard wasn’t he?] “Lords and Ladies, I’d like to introduce you to my fiance’ Evon Allure. She is a Lady of the Wizard’s Guild.”
Um… Wouldn’t that kinda not work since he’s already engaged to she-bi- I mean, Cleo. (Sorry, couldn’t resist. X3) Also, see http://evoncomics.com/?p=677 for reasons. And another reason, the court only knows her as Evon, a young female bear. Granted it might not take much to put that together, but this is the nobility we’re talking about. Anyway, announcing that she’s Evon Allure, part of the Mages’ Guild, would INSTANTLY let everyone after her know where she is, I don’t remember if any of them know of Hero, so by not doing that, they may still be able to hide from her enemies.
Ha! Why is it I can put crap like that together instantly and yet I fail epically at Chess.
Did he actually consent, stick around for the engagement ritual with Cleo?
I thought the whole engagement thing was his parents wish and her insanity?
a strategic withdraw from the field might be in order.
Belvidier seems to approve of Evon as much as he disapproves of Cleo. That’ll help. Especially since he’s already contriving reasons for them to spend time together (as in picnics with wine).
I love those moments of confident calm that suddenly turn into panicked mugging for help. Can’t say I blame her, though. Trying to learn all the rules of high society on such short notice is hard.
Genevieve looks good. Gives a much more positive meaning to the term “mousey”. :j Will be interesting to see how her design translates to clay.

Haha… Good job Evon, and I have to hand it to him, Hero seems to be pretty damn good at this! (‘course with his background what should I expect?)
