Volume Two, Chapter 8, Page 329

For those of you who need a reminder of what’s going on in our story so far check out the beginning of chapter eight
Ol’ Belvie just won’t let Evon have any fun!
And today’s incentive is a preview of another image that I’m working on called “Ladies in Waiting” featuring Evon, Cleo and Areth. I also used this chance to update Areth’s design a little, since we haven’t seen in her a long time š
On another note, the Kickstarter for Evon for the chapter one prints is already 50% funded by a very kind and generous individual so lets give him a round of applause! There’s still plenty of time to act and don’t worry, there’s no limit to how many people can pre-order š
LMAO.
Now THAT strip was funny Ms. Britt. :]
~chuckles~ That’s Belvie for ya, I do so love his dry wit. And as much as I loved our walk down memory lane there, It does feel good to get back to our *ahem* ‘Heros’. ;3
That. Was. PERFECT!!!
I loved the fact that we finally got to see Belvidier with a small smile on his face, something that Chloe could never seem to do. In fact, I don’t think we’ve seen one from him since his introduction in page 270 until now.
=^_^=
Now that’s a witty exchange. Absolutely spot-on. Belvie knows the score, and conveys it with dry wit, and Evon is cheeky. They’re developing quite the bond, which is good for Evon in the long run. Belvidier is probably the best person to have on your side in that castle.
While it seems Belvmeister won’t allow her to cause direct harm to Cleo, as we saw before, he’s perfectly fine with “near misses”. Those can be satisfying, too.
It’s always best to be on the butler’s good side. š
Wow! Belvie cracked a REAL smile! Not a smug smile!
It would seem that Evon is growing on him.
And I have to say that this sudden change of pace was unexpected. Probably because I haven’t really had much time to read any commentary.
btw, Would you mind if I did a screenshot of the incentive? I MUST HAVE IT!
But I won’t do it w/o permission… cuz that would be stealing.
Be my guest, I don’t mind š Or you could wait until Friday when I post the finished version of the image and it’ll be large enough to use as a wallpaper š
=D
Evon, he didn’t say you shouldn’t imagine doing it.
(In fact HE’s imagining you doing it.)
i absolutely love the last two panels!
“You’re no fun.” I’m writing a story and the heroine uses that like quite regularly against the hero when he refuses to allow her to do something she wants to do, such as walking around in front of him sans clothing.
