Volume Two, Chapter 8, Page 330

Sorry for the lack of shading today, some things came up yesterday that required my attention and it kept me busy for a few hours. I’ll get around to doing the shading on this page sometime this weekend (hopefully ^^). This weekend will be pretty busy with me getting ready for Anthrocon.
I also didn’t manage to work more on the incentive pic, but I should have it done fore next week. Even though the incentive is the same, voting is still nice 😀
Have fun at AC Ms. Britt. :]
Hey Evon, good recovery ~snirk!~ It’s cute when she tries to deny her feelings for Hero. And just what sword is she talking about? 😉
Have fun at AC! You’ll be a hit!
Are those… bib overalls?
Ah…think Roman tunic thingy.
I think…
First thing that came to mind for me, too. Well, from those flashbacks of his childhood, we do know that Hero has farmboy experience. He’s just been hard at work baling paperwork, this time.
Enjoy AC, Ms. Britt. :j Hope you sell some stuff.
So, let’s see . . . tiny blush, downward-turned shy expression. Adorable. Hero, you need to run away with her right this instant!
Something just came to mind, too. Was Hero really never suspected for all those deaths? A whole bunch of people get brutally slaughtered, and then he just up and vanishes. Yet when he comes back, nobody says a peep. Unless whatsisname was a hated noble all around, and everybody was glad. *chuckles*
So uh….Mickey Mouse? lol
Oh, that’s been covered. To summarize:
* By law, since he’s a nobleman, he couldn’t be charged with a crime while absent. So no charges were awaiting him.
* If he’s accused, he either faces, or has the option of, trial-by-combat with his accuser as his opponent. HE is a highly experienced swordsman and renowned hero, who BEGAN his career by killing a half-dozen or so noblemen who probably had bodyguards with them at the time – and getting away, which doesn’t imply good health for said bodyguards. The accuser? Well, apparently so far nobody has had the guts, confidence in his skill, or absence of brains to take that position.
