Nah. Until Evon is back with Hero, I will continue to expect the worse and hope for the best.

first, to those who have not seen the voting incentive- go recite some shakespearean quotations and vote, you want to.
Second- My vote is on the top three of A) Hero, very pissed to start with, and absolutely unstoppable after seeing the scene, B) Belvediere, leading the way and ready to shoot a fork into evon’s “therapist”‘s eye, or C) our old friend Venir, who had a bad feeling about all this from the get go…
The time frame doesn’t fit hero, and neither does the magical blast.
Remember that he is betraying the others in the cabal by “stealing her for himself”… it must be one or more of the others in the cabal who are here to claim her for themselves… I am expecting it will soon devolve into a battle royal between all its members, especially when they consider that if they alone are tapping her powers they could easily overpower the rest in the cabal.
I think she’s going to be dealing with some Post Traumatic after this whole ordeal is done. Stabbing, prodding, poking, and nearly being “Forcibly Bred” not once but twice has got to take a toll on a woman’s psyche…
Agreed. That is where Mr. Wax is really going to have to prove that he has the chops of a writer – writing long term emotional trauma and recovery is hard…I think he’s got it…
Can’t tell specifically from the angle, but here’s hoping he didn’t get, um . . . seated, before being thrown off. This whole thing is going to be mountains of nightmare-fuel for Evon for quite a while.
Personally, I’m still banking on Ferneris, himself. He would certainly be one to personally march down there and throw all unholy hell at Maximus for interfering, not to mention killing three of his best flunkies.

I thought you had somehow found a way to do a drawing with sound. O.O
